Alicia Quinn, Director of Programs

Alicia Quinn

Director of Programs

I developed a program that matches nonprofit needs with skilled volunteers. The program provides nonprofits with affordable access to professional expertise to build capacity, and enables skilled volunteers to use their talents to help the community.

With 15 years of private and nonprofit experience, I am passionate about leveraging the resources from both sectors to fuel social innovation. Prior to joining Mission Edge, I was Director of Programs and Development for the Accion U.S. Network, a microfinance lender that provides access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs, and director of programs for San Diego Social Venture Partners, which helps philanthropists realize greater social impact through their collaborative investments of time and treasure in local nonprofits.

I hold a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an M.S.S.W. in Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University. I serve on the Executive Advisory Board for the Center of Peace and Commerce at USD and am the President of the Georgetown Club of San Diego.
